Friday 29th March. Stuck in Algeciras.

Made a dash for Algeciras during a lull in the weather, only to find that there is not a soul here, its a locals only marina and its good Friday, office closed, weather bad so no one on their boats and I can't get through the security gates to go ashore and explore. It looks like I might be heading back to La Linea.
I eventually decided to anchor.
At least I got a change of scenery.

    Yes very picturesque (not) ! Really bad luck if you have to return to La Linea - John Foley reckons it's one of the roughest places in Spain ! Take care. (Steve)

At last I am off the anchor and in Seville proper. I should have read the book more carefully, this is not Holland, they only open the bridge to get in and out once every other day. And the book said that they always have space here but from what I can see I was lucky to get a booking, I can't see any other free spaces and I am wedged between two gin palaces, moored for and aft, Mediterranean style. First thing tomorrow,  shower, get mosquito nets then meet Margaux at the airport.
