Wednesday 26th of June. Still in Lisbon, back in the marina.

I should have been in A Coruna by now but I'm still in Lisbon and getting the bus to Santiago de Compostela tomorrow. No sign of any change in the wind, I've booked into the marina here at Parc de Naçoes for a week.

Sunday 23rd of June. Still anchored in Seixal.

Perfect timing for my arrival here in Seixal. By chance, the week long festival of St Peter started on Saturday. Bands, parades, music etc. I can see and hear it from the boat but can't often get a closer look because of the strong wind. I don't trust the engine on my inflatable. Stuck in Lisbon by strong northerly winds, still, and somewhere just upwind, judging by the smell, there is a sewage farm.

Wednesday 19th of June. Seixal.

I've stocked up on fuel, water, groceries and done my laundry. No need to be in a marina any more, I've come to a pretty anchorage here at Seixal to save a few quid.

Tuesday 18th of June. Still in Lisbon.

and I could be here for a while. The 'Nortada' summer North wind has me pinned down. Worse, I was a step ahead of the orcas but now, having had their fill of rudders in the Gibraltar straits, they are heading north.

Thursday 13th of June. In Lisbon until Monday.

Now in the Parc de Naçions marina, next to the airport. Sailing on the Tagus with Gary, Rhian and Enya. 'The Festos does Santos Populares' It's a bank holiday today to allow for the population of Lisbon to recover from last night. It was huge.
