On the other side of the river from Hendaye in France is Hondarrabia in Spain which I had also never heard of. Another big marina and popular holiday spot for the Spanish. I've booked in for 3 nights.

I'm back in a part of Spain where the tapas are free again and this one is the best so far, pieces of chicken frying on a hot stone, I don't know how they make it pay. I've been persuaded to visit the Alhambra after all and as I'm now here for a week because of strong winds I have plenty of time to do it.
