Sunday 13th October. A Corun̈a.

06.45 dropped anchor in Enseada de Ares.
Booked into Sada marina for a couple of weeks, leaving Nomad whilst I visit London with Margaux.
I picked this up on my propeller leaving Gijon marina, my fault for not keeping a proper lookout but it shouldn't have been there in the fairway, it must have been the storm two days previously that dragged it there. I feel bad for the fisherman who has lost his kit.
I found the Irish pub in Sada. I'll check that out later.

    Excellent progress, Brendan! Now you can rest up for a while. I hope the weather is better there now because it has been very stormy and rainy.

At last I am off the anchor and in Seville proper. I should have read the book more carefully, this is not Holland, they only open the bridge to get in and out once every other day. And the book said that they always have space here but from what I can see I was lucky to get a booking, I can't see any other free spaces and I am wedged between two gin palaces, moored for and aft, Mediterranean style. First thing tomorrow,  shower, get mosquito nets then meet Margaux at the airport.
