A bit late but your comment about rowing back from a bar, made me laugh this morning. I was thinking that at this time of year it can be a bit tricky walking back from the pub, with Ealing Council neglecting their duty to sweep up the fallen leaves. However getting in and out of a rowing boat and on to your own boat is more hazardous.
This is a much bigger place than I was expecting, big marina and huge holiday complex with loads of bars and restaurants and the ones that are open are busy even on a Sunday in February, probably they come from Adra. A lot of people living on their boats too judging by the amount of mail in the marina office. Almerimar is a tiny place on the map, I'm not even sure whether there is an old original pueblo.
My destination, Almeria marina, is not open to visiting boats so I have booked in here, Aguadulce, for another 19 nights. Almeria is only 15 minutes away on the bus and people tell me that this is a better place to keep a boat anyway. And I've met someone living on their boat here who used to be a member of the sailing club in Tollesbury. It is very sheltered here, a sun trap in a bay under a towering cliff, flat calm when the wind is howling out at sea. I wouldn't like to be here in the summer though, it must be like an oven. View from the top over the sea of plastic. and down into the marina.
(Steve) It is VERY good; I would be delighted with it !

You're right. It's well acknowledged as the most dangerous thing about boating.
