    Oh yes. My sister doesn't get back to Bilbao until the 4th of August so there is no point getting there before then. I can have a leisurely cruise along the Asturian coast.

      A few days in Bilbao and then head for the Bay of Arcachon to see Margaux. A treacherous entrance, I'll have to time that carefully.

Friday 14th November. Cascais marina.

Forced into the marina in the early hours by the weather I have booked in here until Sunday. I really wanted to avoid this place because of scary stories about the prices they charge (the king has/had his boat here). But €25 a night is not too bad and they didn't charge me for last night/this morning, some would. I'm not sure that I would have been able to get further upriver against the wind anyway. It looks like I'm going to be here until Wednesday.
