My destination, Almeria marina, is not open to visiting boats so I have booked in here, Aguadulce, for another 19 nights. Almeria is only 15 minutes away on the bus and people tell me that this is a better place to keep a boat anyway. And I've met someone living on their boat here who used to be a member of the sailing club in Tollesbury. It is very sheltered here, a sun trap in a bay under a towering cliff, flat calm when the wind is howling out at sea. I wouldn't like to be here in the summer though, it must be like an oven. View from the top over the sea of plastic. and down into the marina.
30 minutes after those photos were taken, it bucketed down.
ReplyDeleteBlimey that's a coincidence. I was watching a documentary last night on the history of the KKK; didn;t know they had branches in Spain ! (LOL)
ReplyDeleteHi Bren, hope the rain stops long enough for you to enjoy the views as you continue your voyage. Safe travels. Margaret xx
