Tuesday 26th March. Stuck in La Linea.

Due to move on today but the wind got up at midday and now I can't go anywhere. Still, at least the sun has come out again and the rain has washed the red dust away.

      Hi Brendan, I saw the weather was momentarily like London on the weather forecast. I would stay there a bit longer. It is still winter here, after a couple of days of spring last week.

      Hi Jules, yes, it's all storm Nelson and it's got a way to go yet. I'm hoping for a lull so I can at least get a change of scenery.

Friday 14th November. Cascais marina.

Forced into the marina in the early hours by the weather I have booked in here until Sunday. I really wanted to avoid this place because of scary stories about the prices they charge (the king has/had his boat here). But €25 a night is not too bad and they didn't charge me for last night/this morning, some would. I'm not sure that I would have been able to get further upriver against the wind anyway. It looks like I'm going to be here until Wednesday.
