Friday 14th November. Cascais marina.
Forced into the marina in the early hours by the weather I have booked in here until Sunday. I really wanted to avoid this place because of scary stories about the prices they charge (the king has/had his boat here). But €25 a night is not too bad and they didn't charge me for last night/this morning, some would. I'm not sure that I would have been able to get further upriver against the wind anyway. It looks like I'm going to be here until Wednesday.
Tuesday 14th of May. Still in Ayamonte. Held here by strong winds.
Yesterday in Ayamonte, another celebration but I couldn't find out what it was of.

ReplyDeleteI visited Aljeciras by bus in the end, couldn't get there by boat. I was told that it was a dump but I found it to be well worth a day, better than La Linea.
